2006 Trailblazer Problem - Seeking Advice

I'm having a problem with my 2006 trailblazer where I can feel vibrating under the front floor mats. It seems to only occur when the vehicle is in drive, not when it's in Park, Reverse, or Neutral. A friend told me it could be the torque converter going out, but that was just a guess. It has 199k miles on it, and I first started noticing this a couple of months ago. Any advice or what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
