Apply at: *cfmbv6*_ga*NzYyNTAyODQ5LjE2MzEyNzc3NDk.*_ga_169TH6V1JR*MTY3MDUyNDQyNi41Ni4xLjE2NzA1MjQ0NjEuMjUuMC4w ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records and conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections on equipment. • Conduct spot checks on equipment and tools to keep in a safe and operational condition at all times. • Assess and respond to necessary repairs and maintenance of all deicing and transportation equipment as assigned by the mechanic. • Communicate daily with team members to ensure that all are informed about equipment status and expected outcome from next shift on maintenance items that are outstanding. • Attend and participate in all trainings with members of the maintenance hybrid workforce. • Uphold and follow the duties related to de/anti-icing aircraft according to procedures for both airlines and IDS, participating in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events (perform checks on equipment, trucks, servicing equipment with fuel or glycol), ensure proper shutdown of pads, including paperwork and log books; that all maintenance issues have been logged and reported to maintenance and all proper shutdown procedures for the equipment are followed. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • HS Diploma or Satisfactory completion of GED and professional experience. • Valid US driver's license. • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must be able to obtain an airport badge • The Inland Group of Companies maintains a drug-free workplace and, as such, all candidates and employees can expect to participate in our drug testing program. • Knowledge of fluid types, diesel powered machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak clearly and hear efficiently. • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. • Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to, or in excess of 50 pounds. • Employees must have the ability to climb 15 foot heights for work.
