We are looking for event help for our Philly Cat Extravaganza on December 16, 17, 18 at the Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. The following are a list of shifts needed: Event set-up (two positions) Friday, November 10th: 10am-6pm Event break-down (two positions) Sunday, November 12th: 4pm-8pm These positions involve (but not limited to) taping the floor for vendors, setting up tables and chairs, building the displays (minimal experience) and general overall help to the show team and then re-stacking the tables and chairs at the close of the event. Ticket Checkers (two positions per day) Saturday, November 11th: 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm Sunday, November 12th: 9am-4pm and 10am-4pm This position involves (but not limited to) checking all advance tickets and directing some to purchase tickets via QR code. There is no cash handled. You must be friendly and outgoing and will be briefed to answer any questions that the visitors may have. Hospitality and Judge Assistants (Three to Five positions per day) Saturday, November 11th: 9am-5pm Sunday, November 12th: 9am-4pm This position involves (but not limited to) ensuring that the judges and show team are well looked after. This included getting coffees, drinks and organizing the lunches as well as assisting the judges in the efficient running of the ring. You also must be friendly and outgoing and will be briefed on the day. All positions come with 4 tickets to the event, as well as lunch and breaks, when needed. You must be dressed presentably in professional, but cool attire. For event set up, you must wear what is comfortable and safe. Event set-up and break-down: (Two positions, both shifts): $15/hour Ticket Checkers: (Two positions, one of both days): $13/hour Hospitality and Judge Assistants: $13/hour All payments will be made after the successful end to your shift(s).
