Description

Hello 🐾 We are looking to interview families + rehome our purebred soft coated wheaten terrier, Baylee. She is hypoallergenic so she does not shed and she is the perfect medium size at 30lbs. She has a super lovable + sweet disposition. She is very human like in her expressions as the breed is known for and really just loves her humans. She is also super tolerant and playful with kids as we now have 4. She does love other dogs too and would make a great puppy companion. I believe she would really love dog parks as well, but to be honest, she does not have alot of experience with them as we have always gone for walks or had a yard. She loves walking, car rides + does great on her leash. She just turned 3 years old a few weeks ago and is completely potty trained. She does have a crate + does use it well but unless traveling, it is really not necessary and she enjoys her bed in the laundry room and roaming about her home. She is great with boundaries and although we have taught her not to sit on the couch, she would love to jump up + give you snuggles if that's your thing. She needs to live mainly indoors - she is not a backyard breed - unless for pottying + play/excersize and we are requiring that her new home have a fenced backyard. Her breed used to be Irish farm dogs so they love to chase small critters - bunnies or squirrels - so although she does have a great recall, the backyard is for her safety and play. Also, I would need to know your work/life schedule as we want to make sure she would have that attention piece as well as be able to be let outside as needed. She has everything you would ever need for her - bed, food, water, grooming supplies, ect. She is great at getting bathed + trimmed (she actually loves it) and she would need to be taken to the groomer about every 8-12 weeks depending on the length you keep her coat. She does have very soft hair, not fur and her coat is not wirey. We feed her some of the best food - Purina Pro Plan - normally lamb + rice but she is currently on a bag of chicken + rice. She does well on both but prefers the lamb. We would be looking for $1200 rehome fee for her. We did pay $2800+ as they are a rare breed and hypoallergenic, they are hard to come by and we do want a family who is invested in her. She is up to date on all her vaccinations - we just had her vet visit on Nov 17th. She is microchipped + has about 3/4mths left of her flea + tick medicine ans I just got a new 6mth subscription of heartwormer to put her on. I also did a full blood panel on her at her well visit and it all came back normal + I have yet to drop off the urine/poo sample for testing as well but I don't expect any issues. She is super healthy. Reason for rehoming: We just had our 4th baby + while we LOVE her so much and she has been such a great additional to our family, we really need to focus on our children and newborn at this time.
