Join us on Saturday, December 17th for the 2nd Akron EverWalk's Ugly Sweater Walk with the ADDITION of a fun neighborhood scavenger hunt to this years festivites! ***The walk and hunt are centered around local Highland Square and all missions are within close walking distance. You do NOT have to participate in the scavenger hunt to join in the annual "EverWalk" holiday walk. We'll be kicking things off at Annabell's Bar & Lounge in Highland Square. We encourage those in attendance to come donning your ugliest holiday sweater. There will be a prize for the UGLIEST so get creative! ***FOOD & SNACKS will be served following the walk & hunt at 4:00pm. *SCAVENGER HUNT PARTICIPANTS We ask those wanting to participate in the Scavenger Hunt, to be at Annabell's and have their team registered for the Hunt by 2pm. You may have up to 8 members per team with a minimum of 4. The cost is $20 PER TEAM - payment collected upon registration & remember FOOD follows!! Each team will need one member with a phone & operable camera to snap photos as "PROOF" of each mission/clue completed. Each mission will have a point value attached and will be judged on correction and creativity so think outside the box & GET CREATIVE with your teammates!! Teams will receive a "Hunt Packet" with rules and missions upon registration. Packets will be opened and the festivites will commence at 2:30pm. You will have 1.5 hours to complete your Hunt! We ask all teams (and walkers) to return to Annabell's no later than 4:00pm where judging will already be taking place. There will be also be photo ops, games, music & MORE!! We encourage participants to grab some food & festive snacks alongside a holiday beverage with anticipation for the announcement of the 2022 Winning Team at 4:30pm. Winner of the Ugliest Sweater will also be announced! This is gonna be a fun & festive one, AKRON!!! ***EverWalk is a movement designed to spark an epic revolution and get Americans outdoors and walking.Our founders, Diana Nyad and Bonnie Stoll, want to create a nation of walkers…an EverWalk Nation.
