We're seeking detail-oriented, reliable individuals with strong mechanical skills to install solar panels and associated parts on rooftops of commercial buildings etc homes. This is a unique opportunity for those who want hands-on expertise from start through finish line - we provide training if needed. Qualifications • Must be reliable - show up on time, as agreed upon • Must be able to safely work on rooftops and climb ladders • Ability to work extended hours in heat and sun • Lift up to 50 lbs * Must be able to communicate and be able to take orders and be a TEAM PLAYER! Responsibilities •You will use hand tools and battery-operated tools to carefully and properly install mounting systems and panels based on engineered plans •You are responsible for loading the proper tools and materials for the assigned job •Travel to the jobsite on your own or in our trucks and return at a reasonable hour to allow good work-life balance and avoid burnout The following is a plus! • Previous experience in the Electrical and/or Solar Field • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals • Ability to operate electrical equipment and hand tools • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • Reliable transportation and valid NY Driver’s License • Must be willing to work in high places & on rooftops • Be able to work late and on weekends, when needed
