A needy, cuddly cockatoo; age unknown, who also has tantrums if he does not get his way. He loves to sit on a lap and be pet and run around and play. He is quite the character and dances; with rhythm! He is a high energy bird. He needs a big cage, and someone who does not work long hours. He does not come with a cage. You must have parrot experience, as cockatoos are known to be the most difficult parrots to have as pets. They are LOUD. :-) They scream! You must be willing to spend a lot of time with him. He is used to being out of the cage most of the day, except to sleep. He wants to follow you everywhere. He will be your Bff! He is healthy, and was recently tested for diseases, and had a checkup. I will not adopt him out to a home with young kids, as he has bitten adults before, so I would not want to take a chance with kids. A rehoming fee applies, to ensure a person is not a flipper. Cockatoos are also destructive. They need a ton of toys and interaction. If you are the person who can be his new companion, please send me a message, telling me about yourself. We rescued him, but unfortunately, he keeps trying to attack another parrot, and she is used to being out a lot. He is a much bigger bird than she is. He acts jealous and gets upset when she tries to go near a person, or him. So they are completely separated for now, but it will not work out long term. :-( Though he acts okay with other pets and pretty much ignores them, I would prefer he be in a 1 bird household.
