Two experienced guitarists (one with strong vocal abilities) forming a cover/original rock band. Influences include: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Smashing Pumpkins, Jethro Tull, Rival Sons, Big Wreck, STP, Black Sabbath etc. We are looking for the following: (Gender does not matter). Lead Vocalist Drummer Bass Player And keyboard player We are interested in performing challenging cover material and writing and recording original music. We have a great practice space with digital recording capabilities. We are not interested in becoming a “Dance Only Band”. We are seeking to build an all-around solid rock band who can perform a variety of cover songs that include the classics as well as material from newer bands and originals. We have a solid start on dozens of original songs. We would like to practice one (1) evening per week or afternoon/evening on the weekend and play out about once per month. The expectation is that all members will learn their parts outside of practice and come to practice completely prepared to perform the material. Members do not have to have 30 years of stage experience, rather they need to be level headed, have a good work ethic, be a solid musician and want to play. If you need to get stoned or drunk to play or don’t have your own equipment, please do not respond.
