'Tis the season to mark those calendars and make those reservations! On the evenings of Saturday December 10 and Sunday December 11 at 6pm both evenings, Grace Baptist Church of Tullahoma on Ovoca Road (ranked Tullahoma's Finest Church of 2022 by The Tullahoma News) welcomes everyone for no cost at all to an open-seating event "Christmas Changes Everything"! "Christmas Changes Everything" is a musical celebration that bursts with joy and hope and is packed full of seasonal favorites as well as brand new songs composed by multi GMA Dove Awards recipient Mike Speck/Mike Speck Ministries who has published over thirty collections of choral music with Nazarene Publishing House subsidary Lillenas Publishing Company and who has led music for the ministries of Dr Charles Stanley and Andy Stanley, Turning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah, and Pastor John Hagee. About his work on "Christmas Changes Everything", Mike Speck has said "My desire with each lyric set to music is that God would allow us to touch a person in the deepest part of their heart and reach the innermost recesses of a person’s soul." Grace Baptist's presentation of "Christmas Changes Everything" will feature narration from Tullahoma's Finest Pastor Tim McGehee and music from the Grace Worship Choir directed by Michael Brown and the Jubilee Children's Choir directed by Stephanie Underwood Lawson. Special guest soloists will include Aron Gregg of Tullahoma Hot Summer Nights Cruise In powerfully punching some incredible high notes in the jubilant song "Joy" performed by Dustin Smith, computer information systems and administrative management specialist Patricia Rotach bringing a sweet gentleness to the melismatic song "The Savior of the World Has Come" performed by Gaither Music Bill and Gloria Gaither and The Isaacs, Tullahoma Civic Choir members Stephen Tipps and Shawn Andrea Stewart (Andrea) blending beautifully with some lush harmonies in the Paul Baloche song "When Love Crossed Over", Peruvian pastoral candidate Genaro Orellana Arias leading in Spanish and preschool ministries director Melinda Brown leading in English the title piece "Christmas Changes Everything", the beautiful beloved Angela Moore of U.S. Display Group and formerly Fashion Bug women's clothes modeling melting hearts with the stirring "Somewhere In Your Silent Night" which has been performed by Casting Crowns as well as female vocalists like Laura McLean, cosmetologist and esthetician Karen Southern Merritt belting soulfully "Still The Lamb" performed by Mary Mary and Kenneth Ulmer and so much more! The choirs and singers will be accompanied by a live stage band comprised of FedEx delivery driving pianist AP Moore who guest music teaches for Metro Nashville Public Schools and formerly accompanied the award-winning 80-voice The Charlotte Chorale under Dr. William B. and Julie Dederer in southwest Florida, strings synthesist Kara Chenoweth who serves as an adjunct professor for Volunteer State Community College and a music teacher for Franklin County, TN School District, rockstar drummer Mike Lawson who moonlights as an AT&T technician, Mike Shirley and Diane Sweeton Shirley 's daughter Anna on guitar and Ross Parkerson and Lisa Haley Parkerson 's son Landen Parkerson on bass, and a wind ensemble comprised of students from Tullahoma High School Band and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
