This Black History Month, come out to the Innovation Action Center for a variety of events that focus on the black experience. On February 3rd, join us for our talk series called "Black Talks." This will be a weekly event where we will have Black History makers come and speak about their work in the Montgomery County area. On February 10th, come enjoy spoken word poetry focused on social justice, race, and community. On February 17th, we will be screening the film Cracking the Code: A film by Shakti Butler. This film asks America to talk about the causes and consequences of systemic inequity. The film informs you about racial justice and how to commit to positive change. Finally, on February 24th, join us for an evening of art with Arlethia Wall. Come enjoy non-alcoholic beverages and snacks while painting Black art. Together, let us come together and learn more about our Black History. Let us educate ourselves and create a better future for all. Join the Innovation Action Center this Black History Month!
