As part of the Little Tugboats grant program, Remake Learning is providing additional support to help districts tell their story. Telling good stories helps to build community support, recruit partners, attract more funding, and sustain momentum for long-term transformation.
To kick off this support, Remake Learning will host a half-day workshop on Monday, January 30th at the Carnegie Science Center on Pittsburgh's North Shore.
The workshop will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to return to your districts and begin documenting the changes you're leading through your Little Tugboats grant.
Over the course of the session, you'll:
Develop a narrative for your Little Tugboats project
Generate micro-stories to bring that narrative to life
Practice using tools to produce and share your stories
Each district is invited to send two people to attend the workshop:
The Lead Project Manager for your district's Little Tugboat grant
A person who regularly engages with external audiences through district communications, community outreach, public relations, or similar activities
To help us make the workshop as valuable as it can be for you, please take a few moments to complete this two-question questionnaire.
