LCAZ has adopted W. Greenfield Rd between McKellips & McDowell from the City of Mesa through their adopt-a-street program. Our job is to keep it litter free!
Ages 12 & older are welcome. This section of the road is undeveloped (no sidewalks) and traffic travels at 45mph minimum. Children 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Please leave pets at home for their safety. 🐶
Route: approx 2 miles round trip, cleaning one side of the road then walking back to our cars
Wear: protective clothing such as closed toed sturdy shoes, long pants, long sleeves, hat, sunglasses & sunscreen. We will provide a safety vest to wear while working, gloves, grabbers, trash bags & buckets.
Bring: a reusable water bottle to refill while working. We will have light snacks on hand.
Note: restrooms available at nearby businesses
We’ll meet in the AZ Commemorative Air Force Museum parking lot (see photo for parking - NE corner of Greenfield & McKellips). Look for us in our orange vests!
Please message us with any questions.
We look forward to working with you!
