Micro Squirrels also called African Pygmy Dormice are a species of exotic rodent who, as the name states, hails from eastern and southern Africa. These little ones appreciate a varied diet of seeds, fresh fruits and the occasional mealworms. They are an arboreal species meaning they love space to climb, so a vertical setup is ideal for them. Micro Squirrels are a very social with each other so they need to be kept in at least pairs. Both males and females can be kept in same sex groups.
