Looking to assemble a Hard Rock/Metal band

Hello, everyone! For those of you who are sick of merely dreaming of being in a band, so am I. I’m hoping to assemble a band where we can hopefully grow together and get the experience of trying to work as part of a band. This is going to be a modern Hard Rock/Metal band, here to play not for the sake of trends or popularity but to hopefully instead assemble a setlist of quality, curated songs. Influences include but are not limited to: 3DG, Shinedown, Metallica, 5FDP, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, Linkin Park, Of Mice & Men, and WAAAAY too many more to list. Please submit a short list of bands you enjoy if you apply, how long you’ve been playing, and a demo video if you have one(or a list of songs you can play if you don’t). I’m a guitarist by trade and willing to potentially take rhythm or lead roles as is necessary. I have my own transportation and basic equipment, but I don’t have a shared rehearsal space. I might be willing to chip in on a rented space, but that’ll depend. I’m in my 20s so I’m looking for band members of similar age, or somewhere around that ballpark. No drug addicts, please! Right now I’m only really interested in doing covers, but there’s no telling where this ride might take us in the long run! My main goal in mind is to get us in condition to be gig-capable as a cover band. No matter what, though, it’s going to be less about the destination and more about the journey. Basic Requirements: MINIMUM 6 months of general musical experience Must have own equipment and reliable transportation. Preferably lives in the Tampa Bay area. Willing to meet at least once a week.
