Description
One Hot Minute is a new Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band from St. Petersburg. We are seeking a tech for FOH and Monitors. The PA consists of a Soundcraft ui24R mixed from a tablet, 2 EV Dual 15" mains, 2 JBL 12" side-fills, and an EAW powered floor monitor, mics for drums, guitar, and vocals. 2600W Mackie, 6000W Behringer power amps.
Experience: obviously and experience engineer will be our first choice. However, we will train the right person, such as a fellow musician, someone with a home studio, experienced with consumer hi-fi audio. Basically, if you can make music sound right with a graphic EQ and understand basic audio, I can train you.
We require a valid Drivers license and a strong back. Your duties will be to pick up the equipment from storage, assist with setup at the event, create monitor mixes, run a soundcheck, mix the show, tear down equipment and return to storage.
The expense of transportation must be deducted from our receipts and that means less available to pay crew. So if you own a cargo van or trailer, you get to the front of the line and will be paid more.
