Seeking experienced Upholsterer to join growing upholstery shop in Lyons, CO! Just 10 minutes outside Boulder, and 25 minutes from Denver, come enjoy the front range lifestyle! -1-2 years upholstery experience required in a shop setting -Must have sewing experience in the upholstery field -Experience sewing on industrial machines -Knowledge of stitch length adjustments, pressure of presser foot adjustments and tension a must -Ability to make patterns, experience pattern matching and working with leather a plus -Knowledge of fabrics a must -Must have own transportation -Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time This position will be working under the manager in an eclectic shop in a beautiful Lyons CO. Daily responsibilities will include taking instruction from the manager on specific project details and completing them with minimal supervision. Types of projects include cushion covers with welt, dining seats, dining chairs, benches and ottomans. You will be given your own work area with tools provided to cut, sew and upholster your pieces. This is a PART TIME position with the possibility of being offered a full time position on the team. Pay is 1099 until hired full time in which a w2 will be needed.
