The Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting veterans for a research study to evaluate the effects of an investigational medication (oxytocin) in combination with talk therapy for veterans who drink alcohol. If you are eligible and choose to participate, you will receive 12 weekly sessions of talk therapy with a trained clinician. You will also receive either the investigational medication or an inactive placebo. Complete participation is available through telehealth. No in person visits required. Free. Paid. Confidential.
