Snow clearing Scope of Work Detail The requirement is to have the snow cleared within 2 hours after the snowfall has stopped. We usually start clearing snow one hour before the snow stops based on the weather channel app's hourly forecast. We spread salt liberally to ensure safety, especially on the first properties we stop at along our routes so that it will continue to melt the little bit of snow that continues to fall as we are clearing the property during that last hour. If you accept this work you agree to go out overnight and/or during business hours and/or for multiple trips in a day particular day if there is a break in the snow for more than 2 hours for the day. The goal is to ensure the safety of our tenants and people walking on our properties. You will be paid per trip based on the amount of snow that falls based on the following tiers: Dusting up to 6" at Tier 1 Rate per property. 6" and above" Tier 2 Rate. We reimburse the cost of Calcium Cloride used aside from the contracted labor payment. We are replacing two contractors who retired after last season to cover their previous routes and to cover additional properties we added to our portfolio this year. Our other snow removal contractors have been with us since 2018. If you have the manpower and reliable transportation to take on multiple property groups and complete them within the 2 hours time frame we have to clear snow to limit our liability. Job Description: 1. Take time-stamped photos upon arrival of: 1. The house number, and 2. the area we are responsible for clearing snow. 2. Clear steps completely 3. Clear a walking path 3 shovel widths wide during heavy snow and the entire sidewalk during light snow. Creating a roughly 48" wide walkway, on the sidewalk in front of the property. 4. Clear a walking path to the garbage bins located on the outside of the property so the tenants can throw their trash out safely. 5. Spread salt liberally on the steps, and walkways cleared of snow, ice, and/or sleet. 6. Take after photos of the areas cleared of snow, ice, and/or sleet cleared showing salt on the ground.
