Job Description - Start ASAP Landscape Maintenance Crew Members / Leaders Landscape Maintenance Staff - Crew Members - Start ASAP - Full Time 38-40 Hours a week Velit Services is looking for a motivated new staff for landscape positions. We a commercial landscape company offering landscape maintenance, irrigation, storm water, snow and ice, lighting and more. Job Description: Mowing of turf, edging, line trimming, blowing, pruning, lifting tree limbs from the ground, mulching and pine straw in cooler months, and basic spot weed control spraying Reliable Transportation to and from work Be on time and be able to communicate and work as a team Assist with snow & ice operations in the winter (Equipment, Sidewalk Crews, Salting Trucks, Etc.) Assist in completing daily electronic work orders Complete basic equipment maintenance, washing and safety inspections Washing of trucks and equipment as needed Work as a team with other crew members and leaders Job Requirements: Preferably A Minimum of 1 year of verifiable landscape maintenance experience (Working with commercial mowers and equipment) or be a hard-working person wanting to learn. Crew Leaders- Minimum of 2+ Years Experience Ability to operate all grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively Must have reliable transportation to and from work Driver's License Not Required for Crew Members- Crew Leaders it is required and have a good driving record Good communication skills and be professional Follow all company safety and procedure policies Be on time Must be eligible to work No smoking on sites, in vehicles, etc. On breaks is ok. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs when needed Able to work outside in all weather conditions throughout the year We will perform a Criminal Background Check Drug Free Hours: Normal Hours- Mon. - Fri. 6:30am - 3:30pm to 4pm Snow and ice storms require evening and weekend work.
