We are two chill local musicians in our late 30s looking to find some other players to round out our band. We play a mix of Americana, classic rock, jam band, and blues music - both of us play several instruments and sing lead and backup.
Adding drums and bass would really complete out rhythm section. For bass - open to acoustic bass, electric bass, even ukulele bass with amp. For drums - looking for more minimal/cocktail/suitcase percussion rig player with emphasis on snare drum backbeat. This can include cymbals, piezo stomp/floor tom/suitcase kick, tambourine, shakers, etc. Any additional vocals are a plus.
We are open to adding a 5th member too for a more complete sound once we get the rhythm section established. This would include probably playing an instrument (mandolin, violin, cello, pedal steel, acoustic guitar, banjo, glockenspiel, flute/Penny flute) and adding extra percussion, back up vocals, or extra keyboard parts (synth strings, synth pads, bells, folk instrument sims - glockenspiel, flute, violin, flute, pedal steel, banjo, harp, etc.)- or some other configuration of these roles.
The plan is to start causally jamming and building up a song catalog - playing 1-2x/month to start at least. If we all get along and get a basic few sets of music I’m open to playing gigs too - small bars, coffeehouses, breweries, wineries, private parties, festival side stages farmer’s market’s.
Send me an email with some information about yourself and an audio demo if you have one.
