Have you always wanted to celebrate Kwanzaa but needed to know where to start? Here's your chance to learn more!
Join the Hill CDC as we celebrate the annual holiday affirming African American families and social values on December 26th. Kwanzaa is celebrated from Monday, December 26th, 2022, to Sunday, January 1st, 2023.
Each of the days of the celebration is dedicated to one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa: unity (Umoja), self-determination (Kujichagulia), collective responsibility (Ujima), cooperative economics (ujamaa), purpose (Nia), creativity (Kuumba), and faith (Imani). Expect to learn more about Kwanzaa and the seven principles, shop with artists to prepare your family for this year's celebration and immerse yourself in the art & music of the diaspora.
