Full-Time Entry-level Shop Technician needed for a forklift/heavy equipment dealership in Pearland, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics/abilities: Strong work ethic Self-motivated Ability to take direction from others Ability to work on assignments independently Ability to lift heavy items (using proper body mechanics) Ability to stand at length Ability to climb on and off of forklifts/heavy equipment Ability to safely operate forklifts/heavy equipment in and around the shop History of employment longevity Low absenteeism Mechanical aptitude Working knowledge and experience working with basic tools Positive attitude Team player - ability to get along well with others Valid Texas Driver's License Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clean/Make-ready forklifts/heavy equipment Basic/Entry-level maintenance of forklifts/heavy equipment Parts running Facility maintenance Assist Service Technicians as needed Moving equipment from one place to another General yard clean-up Lifting Standing Working indoors & outdoors We are committed to providing a safe, drug-free work environment.
