Celebrate the second night of Chanukah at the JCC! Our fun, family-friendly celebration once again has a Southern flair. Join us as we light the menorah, play dreidel and eat some gelt, nosh on Southern fried chicken and latkes, and enjoy a live concert by Six13! Popular with all ages, Six13 is a groundbreaking a cappella group that brings an unprecedented style and energy to Jewish music. Juxtaposing the traditional and the contemporary, Six13 is anchored by a strong Jewish identity, fueled by soulful harmonies, intricate arrangements and their signature dynamic, full-band-like sound. Special thanks to the Jewish Endowment Foundation of Greater New Orleans and the Feil Family Foundation for sponsoring this event, and Cathy and Morris Bart for their continued support of Jewish programming. Admission is free and open to the community. A reservation is requested.
