Just[US], emphasizing what is considered “just” in society, and “US” focusing on inclusion, is a social service and community organization that was founded with the desire to serve, support, educate, and strengthen the black community. Our organization is faith based, and we rely on the bible verse Isaiah 1:17 (Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression;) to keep ourselves aligned with the type of service God wants us to do. For the past 6 years, we as an organization, have dedicated ourselves to providing warmth to the community by collecting blankets, coats, and winter clothing items, then distributing them to individuals who are currently living on the streets of Atlanta – each year we are able to bless at least 150 people and last year we even had the opportunity to connect with 3 specific families to bless them based on their individual needs.
