Ruckus in the Bearbrush is an Appalachian band bringing their music to all communities. The show consists of music and stories from clans who immigrated to the Appalachian territories of the United States. They present how the two cultures collided and impacted the mountain melodies we still hear today. They play a range of American folk, Celtic, sea shanties, medleys, and Appalachian mountain melodies. Their guitarist has summered in the blue ridge mountains of Tennessee, woodwinds and autoharpist spent 14 years traveling to the Ozark mountains of Missouri, and our string master pulls it all together with everything from mountain dulcimer to fiddle tunes. All are seasoned musicians with inspiring abilities and many tales to tell. This delightful music is enjoyable to all audiences! http://www.bearbrushmusic.net/ Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concert begins at 7:00 PM. Concessions will be available for sale during the concert. The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of a non-handicap accessible building and there are some stairs to climb. *For attendees in groups of eight or more who want to sit together, please feel free to contact us in advance and we are willing to set aside a group of chairs in the back seating section of the main room floor for your group. We don’t do group discounts.
