Dr. Leach will be leading the workshop on the following topic: - Accessible Repertoire by African American Composers. The repertoire will be based on the following themes of Faith, Justice and Hope. A variety of repertoire for SATB Choir, SSAA Choir and TTBB Choir will provide participants with many resources that may be used with high school choirs, college/university choirs and church choirs. Music by Stanley Spottswood & Donte Ford will be sung at the workshop. This workshop is open to the community whether you are a singer or just want to attend to hear more about the theme for the day from Dr. Leach. Music will be provided and will be collected at the end of the workshop. The workshop runs from 10am -3pm with a 45 minute break for lunch which is provided. A donation of $5-10 will be collected at the door. Registration is required in order to have enough lunch for attendees.
