LIFT is excited to host Detroit’s Chapter of Women in 3D Printing (Wi3DP) to share our story and how LIFT is using additive manufacturing technologies to Drive American Manufacturing Into the Future by connecting materials science, manufacturing processes and systems engineering. Please join us for an evening of networking and discussing how we can advance manufacturing! 4:00 - 4:30 pm - Welcome and networking 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. LIFT tour, which includes Additive Manufacturing Cell, Modeling Simulation Center, and Siemens Digital Experience Center 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. – Networking About LIFT LIFT, operated by the American Lightweight Materials Manufacturing Innovation Institute, is the Detroit-based, public-private partnership between the Department of Defense, industry and academia, committed to the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies, and implementing talent development initiatives to better prepare the workforce today and in the future.
