I’m a bassist/vocalist looking to form an indie band. Influences include: Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Muse, Prince, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me. Looking to have a Fleetwood Mac/The Beatles singing situation where different people sing lead on different songs. I want to focus on making groove based music with catchy melodies. Mostly rock oriented but looking to incorporate elements of funk, new wave and pop where possible. I’m seeking a guitarist, drummer and keyboardist. The plan is to compose a few songs, release an EP and play shows. I consider music to be more than just a hobby and would like to take this as far as possible. Please have the same mindset as well. I have a rehearsal space by Humboldt Park and a drum kit. Also, heads up, I’m a caretaker of a few elderly folks so masks would be required during rehearsals, unless someone is singing, of course.
