Kevin, an Assistive Technology Technician at Easterseals Iowa, will be at the CICIL Connection Center to discuss your technology. Keeping up with technology usually means navigating frustration and perpetual changes. Sometimes this may leave you feeling a bit confused and lost. Whatever technology you are using, bring it with you to this interactive group. Kevin will help you unravel your technology and unlock its power, so you feel more relaxed using your device as you are Living, Learning, Working, and Playing.
Kevin is a Peer who identifies as having a mental health disability. He combined his love of technology with rehabilitation counseling to help individuals with disabilities meet their goals. Kevin is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering and a Master’s of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Drake University. Kevin is a passionate advocate of disability rights and has been involved in several advocacy boards: Iowa Statewide Independent Living Council and Iowa Olmstead Consumer Taskforce. He is currently a board member of Disability Rights Iowa.
