We are seeking a full-time onsite maintenance porter for an HOA. The hours will be 40 hours plus evenings, and weekend shifts.
- General custodial and light maintenance duties throughout the community
- Assist with event preparation set-up, cleanliness and tear down of community events, and cleanliness of common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the community, and inspect for general cleanliness of common areas.
- Repair minor electrical issues, i.e., light bulbs, switches, etc.
- Clean and stock amenity center restrooms.
- Repair minor plumbing problems, i.e., unstopping toilets, sinks, or urinals, and fixing water leaks, including leaky faucets and water fountains.
- Assume additional and special duties assigned or required to maintain the cleanliness and safety of Association buildings and grounds.
- Keep the onsite staff members informed of the status of equipment and maintenance needed or performed on the property.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must be able to maneuver and drive a gator.
Must be able to perform physical tasks which may require standing, stooping, and lifting
Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently with little or no supervision
Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial janitorial and porter services and a demonstrated ability to take directives and maintain professionalism.
Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must have a positive work history and references
Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Work week/month to be discussed and agreed upon by the Onsite Community Manager and Employee and based on community needs.
