If you answered yes, Better View Landscapes has excellent opportunities for snow service professionals who love snow as much as we do and are committed to maintaining properties in a safe and professional manner. We offer a fun/safe workplace where you can be part of a great team. Here are three reasons to work with us this winter: 1. We have a very organized and dense route. This means you won't be racing from town to town. 2. We have brand-new and well-maintained equipment. no braking down on the side of the road in the freezing cold in the middle of the night. 3. We keep you warm!! We have specialized sidewalk equipment that will limit the time you spend out in the cold. We even have a dedicated HEATED sidewalk machine! Additionally, we will feed you during larger storms and you also can grab snacks and drinks out of our stocked fridge and snack cabinet. This is an on-call position that pays hourly. Hours fluctuate seasonally: Must be available on an on-call basis typical start times for storms is 2-3 am. APPLY NOW: Requirements: -Provide outstanding plowing/shoveling service and keep our client's properties safe from the dangers snow and ice can create. -You must be a team player and team builder, who enjoys skill sharing, is a problem solver, and is looking to be a part of a team of professionals. -Must be available on an on-call basis for each snowfall 2" or more. -Operate snow shovels, and blowers and apply deicing products to walkways. -Must have reliable transportation to our location -Be available on an "on-call" basis -Must be able to get to our location 1 hour from the time called -Good verbal and written communication skills -Clean driving record of at least 3 years -Ability to work outside in cold weather for several hours at a time -Ability to work individually or with a team -Driver License (increase in Pay) Mandatory for Plow Driver -Must have Smartphone Benefits: -Paid Holidays, base X 2 on holidays *as defined in our handbook. -Additional productivity-based Incentives -Paid Training on snow equipment and operation -Safety gear provided (except steel toe footwear) -Uniforms provided -Company refrigerator STOCKED (We’ll ask for your favorite drinks and snacks - get your list ready) Wage: $20-$30/hr, based on experience, licensing/certifications, and skill set.
