Project: Build your own Farmhouse Dining Table About this Event Gather around and pull up a seat around a solid wood table for 4, 6, or 8 built by YOU at this Fisk Avenue DIY workshop! Join us for this two day event to turn a pile of lumber into an heirloom project. Choose your size and style to create your custom gathering spot, ready to be stained/painted and sealed to your design taste. This is a two day event event taking place on both Saturday December 17th | 12-3pm AND Sunday December | 12-3PM Day 1: Assemble top and tool skills,  Cut and assemble table base and add legs Day 2: Sand table, finishing skills Attendees must attend both days | Delivery available Experience: Beginner Tools: Miter saw, Planer, Joiner, Table Saw,  domino Joiner, Belt Sander, Kreg Jig, power drill, clamps Attendees: Partner Highly Recommended but not required Options and Price: up to 8’ long table - max width 40” | Straight Legs - pine $600. Maple $800 Fancy Wood Turned Legs- pine $800 Maple $975 up to 4’ long table - max width 40” | Straight Legs Only- pine $400 Maple $600 Optional Delivery: +$65 within 15 miles of Fisk Avenue. Deliveries will be made within 7 days of your event.  Customize your table by length, width, and height! Take measurements before the workshop to find your ideal size. Finish: Paint and/or Stain, Topcoat (at home) This workshops includes the opportunity to sand your entire table and hands-on instruction and product recommendations for prepping, staining/painting and protective coats at home. Time Commitment: This event is currently being offered as a two day event, with a maximum of 3 hours of workshop time per Session. This event can be scheduled as a one day event for private workshops. Finishing at home: Depending on materials you have at home (paint brush, polyurethane, etc.) and your desired finish, the materials for finishing this project could cost you anywhere between $0-$50 and could take 1hr-3hrs to complete. Please Note: workshop is for the table only. Chairs and benches can be ordered or for an additional charge at the workshop.
