Hello there! We are two best friends. Why should you get an already bonded pair? Well, for one thing, rabbits that have a bonded companion are known to live together. However, it is a long process to develop this bond. It can take several months of monitored introductions and even then isn’t always successful. We are inseparable and can constantly be found snuggling and grooming each other. Though if you want to hold us we are happy to snuggle with you too! Jersey Woolies were a breed developed for the sole purpose of being a pet, so we are known for our exceptionally sweet personalities and low-maintenance wool coat. Even though we have beautiful fluffy long-hair similar to a lionhead, it is true wool and not very susceptible to tangles. We only need occasional brushing. Josephine- My color is black otter which gives me an adorable heart-shaped nose and a unique color pattern of black, brown, and white. I am a little more timid than Jemima, but that’s because I am a very sweet, gentle soul! I love to be held and sit on your lap. Jemima- My color is Chinchilla, when you run your hands through my thick coat, you can see a variation of gray stripes all throughout my hairs! I’m a little braver than Josephine, once I’m comfortable I just don’t want to move even if I’m disturbed! Something very unique about me is I’m a very vocal and expressive rabbit. As soon as you pick me up, you’ll notice I make grunts and snorts. It’s just my way of saying hello and as you get to know me, you’ll start to notice that I have different grunts for different moods! ***Rabbits are intelligent and sensitive animals, not a low-maintenance animal that can be left in a cage. We need plenty of room to run and an owner that is willing to learn proper rabbit care for our personalities to really shine! Are you the one to join our family?
