NVVTG welcomes our new Fire Science Advisor, Tori Norville for a presentation and discussion of stewardship for fire adaption. Topics to be discussed include: (1) Steps for stewardship (permitting, cost-share programs, other resources); (2) Benefits of stewardship for fire, forests and ecosystems; (3) Tools and options for stewardship based on goals and objectives; (4) Shaded fuel breaks around vineyards, and how to use the natural resources we have to create defensible space. CE credits: No continuing education units will be available as the topic does not qualify. (To qualify, the seminar topic must cover pest, disease or pest management).
