It’s movie day at the Library! Join CES for an exclusive educator film series featuring two recent documentaries about disability justice and reimagining what inclusion could look like. Crip Camp surfaces the history of a trailblazing camp for teens with disabilities and how some campers' experiences inspired their leadership in the US disability rights movement advocating for historic legislation changes. The Disruptors dispels myths surrounding ADHD, highlights how celebrated innovators manage their ADHD, and takes an intimate look at how families navigate the surprises and challenges of raising children with ADHD. (Watch the trailer!) Eligible NY State educators will receive 4 hours of CTLE credit for their participation. Lunch and refreshments will be served!
