Join us at Beige & Birch Studio in Marshall, MN for a festive workshop of holiday fun and pretty lettering! If you are a DIY’er, Gift Giver, or just an individual looking to tap into their creative side this workshop is perfect for you. In this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with everyday materials that you most likely already have at home. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your holiday tables, Christmas trees, hostess gifts, gift tags, holiday card mailings and more! This event includes a 1 hour social, to mingle, enjoy local vendors and taste a variety of hors d’oeuvre. Immediately following there will be 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration. Our beginner’s calligraphy kit includes (2 calligraphy pens, holiday tags, 1 Acrylic Ornament, envelopes, tracing paper and a letter guide). Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop! Class will start promptly at 7:00PM! Class Expectations: This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics and our expectation for you is to have enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style! If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and mingle with the community. A note on bringing guests 16 and under: We love to share this passion with kids. We do ask that anyone under the age of 16 is to be accompanied by a ticketed adult at all times. refund policy All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on your ticket. Severe Weather: Classes canceled due to severe weather will be rescheduled with the venue. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, we offer a store credit for the full ticket value.
