This is the annual follow-on for the highly successful research education program for Yuma and the border region. This workshop will focus on four on-going areas of research education and program development: Binational Border Health; Community Engagement; Clinical and Community Health Research Based Agenda; Workforce Development. The translational element will include evaluation and dissemination of the impact of initiatives started in Yuma, including the development of a regional health research council, continuing assessment of workforce needs, and additional formalization of cross-border health disparities issues and research education opportunities.
