Gluten and Dairy Free CookingIf you have dietary restrictions, or have loved ones with allergies, this class will help keep you in the kitchen and cooking what you love. Find out what substitutes to use when cooking to keep your favorite dishes tasting delicious. By learning gluten-free and dairy-free methods, you’ll be able to adapt your favorite recipes and continue cooking for your friends and family.

Instructor BioChef Jon Woodgate is a faculty instructor for the Culinary Arts program at Southwest Technical College. Prior to his current position, he was the kitchen manager at The Creamery in Beaver, Utah. He joined the U.S. Air Force after graduating from high school and worked in aviation for many years. Later, Jon earned an associate’s degree in culinary arts. He has worked in food service as a caterer and has experience as a chef instructor teaching culinary skills to underprivileged adults for non-profit organizations in Arizona.
