Under the supervision of the Assistant Town Manager/Human Resources Director, performs a wide variety of highly responsible and complex administrative duties involving secretarial, analytical, and technical support and assisting the Director in various human resource activities such as establishing and maintaining Town personnel records in accordance with federal and state confidentiality and disclosure requirements; posting job advertisements for the recruitment of qualified individuals to fill Town positions; reviewing job applications and preparing candidate matrices outlining qualifications of applicants; scheduling job interviews for various Town departments; and, conducting background and employment reference checks on job applicants. Serves as the receptionist for Town administrative offices. High school diploma or equivalent plus Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two (2) years of related administrative experience are required. A combination of relevant training and experience can be substituted for the degree. Must have knowledge of composition and grammar, business English, mathematics and modern office practices and procedures including skill in word processing and computer functions. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgment. Bilingual Spanish and Haitian Creole preferred but not required. This is a full-time position. Pay range:  $19.48 to $30.19 per hour. Starting rate dependent upon qualifications. Excellent benefits. Deadline for Receipt of Applications: 5:00 p.m. on December 15 2022.
