Description
We are seeking Part-time Catering Servers for upcoming events.
You must have experience performing passing hors d'oeuvres, operating a buffet station, serving multi courses sit-down dinners, and being able to travel.
Responsibilities: includes but are not limited to the:
• Maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of tables, linens, chairs, etc, for full service of banquet events.
• Polish flatware and glassware to remove all visible water spots and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean restroom, with restroom checks frequently throughout the event.
• Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Maintain a sense of urgency when on the service floor.
• Maintain back of the house, front of the house, and side work duties for the overall productivity of
banquet events.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Seek council from management when needed.
• Complete other assigned duties when necessary.
• Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success.
• Follow Health and Safety practices at all times.

• Reliable Transportation or be able to travel in NYC for carpooling
• Lift and carry banquet serving trays which can weigh up to 35 lbs
• Serve guests in a variety of settings including crowded areas which require agility
• Ability to market and sell the company’s services to future customers
