Under the direction of the Facility Director, this position is responsible for performing some janitorial duties for our Sports Complex. Quality customer service will be provided to the client at all times. Willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential. Responsibilities and duties of this position include: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing of flooring as needed Empty all trashcans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary. Remove trash and haul it away Sweep, vacuum and/or spot clean and mop floors pre,during and post event Move tables, chairs, equipment, etc Walk around during event and monitor trash build up. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to follow oral instructions Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn. Good client/customer service skills Good communication and interpersonal skills REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must pass a background check PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds.
