The birds are really foraging today

My yard is full of birds-blue jays, robins, blackbirds, wrens etc. They all seem to be on a mission. I’m wondering if this is an early sign of winter coming. I mean, I see birds in my yard but never this many. And they don’t even seem to notice each other. Weird.
