Description

Original indie folk music with elements of rock, swing, gypsy jazz, world etc. (some eclectic covers) & mostly female lead vocals. Current line-up includes cello, upright bass, guitar & uke. The music moves from lively and foot stomping to thoughtful or whimsical. Back vocals and occasional lead a big plus. Must have gig experience, some type of music sample and be fairly commutable to Woodstock where we rehearse. Ability to both memorize parts and improvise important. Understanding of restraint as well as spontaneity highly appreciated. The songs have already evolved for violin, but could potentially replace with keyboards, clarinet, accordion, flute, harp...will also be auditioning for drums at some point.
