It mandates commandments designed to establish God's Laws. Sadly, you don't preach the words in red, you preach all the other crap which is open to interpretation based on whatever the church feels it wishes to promote, in order to serve its own political needs. Rules that are often contrary to the will of the people as a whole but rather the narrow interpretations of the church and contrary to constitution of the US. Freedom "of" religion is not freedom to "impose" your religion on everyone else against their will.
