Hip-Hop Soul Artist ChiTheRealist is a forceful multifaceted phenomenon. Fresh off his touring performance opportunity with Joyner Lucas for the ADHD Tour, Chi is back home to tell his story of Triumph through Turmoil! In 2021, Chi TheRealist endured a series of hardships beginning with catching COVID and quickly taking a turn for the worse after a house fire took all of his belongings, miraculously everything except his external hard drive home for everything Chi has ever recorded. Chi used this experience as a lesson and a sign from God that if he doesn't use his gift it can be taken away. So after the smoke cleared, Chi rose from the ashes with "Through The Fire" an album of versatility and eclectic sounds that tell glimpses of Chi's struggles throughout the year. Watching Chi TheRealist perform live leaves you with a full heart and mountain-moving motivation. His goosebump-inducing passion and high energy are unlike no other. in 2022 Chi shared the stage with Rochester's hometown hero Danielle Ponder, for a surprise guest verse performance on Danielle's "The Only Way Out" record, and there wasn't a dry eye throughout the 10,000-person crowd. Chi moved back from Los Angeles to use his voice and body to be an influential leader in the Black Lives Matter movement in Rochester and uses his gifts to connect with and mentor inner-city youth. During the day Chi works as a crisis intervention specialist and high school youth navigator for EnCompass Resources for Learning, helping lead students through college readiness, career readiness, and mental health.
