Da Pin & Ink Show is about carving out our own spot for what we love. Over the past few years, we saw spaces for enamel pins and indie comic books shrink. In some cases they disappeared altogether. They've been elbowed out by celebrity hype and mainstream appeal; squeezing out the very soul of these fan expos. We don’t begrudge those who enjoy these type of things, we just wish it wasn’t at the expense of our own space. We miss the indie creator scene; where attendees are interacting directly with the creators. Where the artist can pour their heart and soul onto the table for the world to see. So here we are, building our own space for us.
