The name itself invokes images of glitzy celebrations or sophisticated dinners in popular media, but what is it about this region that makes the most expensive and sought after sparkling wine in the world. This wine experience will be in-depth look at a range of different Champagnes and learning about the Champagne region and its history, as well as the differences in the grape blends used in Champagne, the difference between vintage and non-vintage Champagne, what the sweetness levels in the wines mean, and other important facts to help in learning about and selecting a great Champagne based on your palate. We will also be providing some light snacks as well and will discuss a little about how versatile Champagne is in terms of food pairings. Come for a rare opportunity to try several high quality Champagnes side by side and gain an appreciation for what makes these wines so special and sought after. Note: This class will be held at the club house of the Meadows Golf Course in Moorhead instead of at 99 bottles. Class space is limited. Sign up now!
