Neutered Male Bunny

Description

Meet Bertie, the Vienna Blue bunny. He was rescued from farmers at the Frederick County Fair who wanted to use him for meat. Thankfully he was rescued in time and is now looking for a home that will provide him with the love and attention he deserves. He is a young adult, under a year old. He has been neutered and vet-checked, weighing just under 7 pounds at his last vet visit. He is super healthy. Personality-wise, he is a super spunky and bold rabbit. He takes a few days to get used to new people, but as soon as he's comfortable, he is quite a little spitfire. He demands pets, constantly begs for treats, and zooms around the room just to show he can. We are still working on litterbox training, but he is 75% there. With a little bit more encouragement, he'll easily get to 95%. He is currently eating orchard grass hay (unlimited), Oxbow pellets (1/3 cup a day), and a wide variety of dark leafy greens (2 cups day). He is quite a little pig, too. He MUST be a house rabbit (meaning he is kept indoors either free-roam in a home or inside a playpen of at least 26 sq ft). If you're interested, I'll ask you a few questions about bunny care and also ask for a picture of the main area where he will be kept. I'm asking $50.00 to ensure he is going to a good home whose owners take his care seriously. He'll come with his litter box, some Oxbow pellets, a bag of hay, and some willow balls he loves.
