Description

This deeply relaxing and rejuvenating sound immersion/sound bath is a unique way to connect with yourself on a deeper level, to explore your inner landscape while you listen to soothing, long tone sounds played by Jenn. Gently disrupt your Sunday night routine and intentionally create time for yourself to be quiet and still, to listen to and connect with your heart and hush the rush for a while and be in community with other beautiful humans. Jenn Gietzen, a music therapist and sound healing practitioner, will guide you through the experience beginning with some breathing exercises, a guided meditation and then will move into deep relaxation while she plays crystal bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, drums, chimes, a gong, and more. Participants will be laying down on yoga mats with an eye pillow (to help promote a relaxed state). What to Bring: A yoga mat or comfy mat to lay on. A blanket or 2, and even a weighted blanket if you like. A small pillow or extra blanket to rest your head. An eye pillow if you have one, or Jenn will have some to use and purchase if you love it:) Really, anything that makes you feel comfy and cozy. What to Wear: Comfy clothing and socks. Where to Park: Side of the building or on the street in front of the building. Doors open at 6:20 and close at 6:40 ~~~~~Please note that if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy it is advised that you wait until your 2nd trimester to partake in a sound bath. Also, if you are prone to seizures, please get in touch with Jenn to discuss any concerns. ~~~~~For more information about Sound Therapy (aka Sound Healing, Sound Baths, Sound meditation) please visit my website: www.monarchmusictherapy.com~~~~~ Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns Email: [email protected]
