Husky needs a home before January

The previous owner of this dog kept him in a crate sized for a chihuahua, I took him to find a new home for him. He needs a permanent home by January otherwise I'll have to take him to the Humane Society or MADACC. His estimated age is 7 months. As any Husky he is pretty high energy and doesn't like to be left alone. He is very curious about new people and dogs, I have introduced him to 5 people and a few trips to the dog park with no problems at all. Given the chance he will chase rabbits, I don't know how he is with cats. He's very gentle and cautious, he likes to play bite fingers and hands but doesn't apply any pressure at all. His name was Rocky but he doesn't respond to that name, I've been calling him Bud. He doesn't respond to any commands in English, but he came from a Spanish speaking family so he might know some Spanish. He's pretty good on a leash for a Husky, he pulls but not too bad, probably too much for a small child to take him for a walk. Off leash he won't run away, but he will run and explore and will come back on his own time. His vaccination status is unknown and he has not been neutered.
